Back on the Vanday.

Given the choice to stay on the Galaxina or go back to the Vanday, Hamilton has opted to go back to the Vanday.

 Anna Dalaks will transfer to the Galaxina instead.

The Vanday is still two engineers and a couple of cargo handlers short. So Braga Eggers And Even Ritter will transfer over from the Berkshire.

Evan Ritter Sr Drive Hand  M drive- Jump Drive, Power plant He is from Kinorb; “The one in the Regina subsector. Not the one in Rhylanor.” He speaks some Vargr.  He will be on third shift. Which works out as M'lex is on third shift and is a vargr.

Braga Eggers Drive Hand Power Plant- M drive She comes from Wardn, near the boarder and speaks Sword Worldish. She will be on first shift with you.

The cargo handlers are still vacant but a message is being sent on ahead that the Vanday is hiring.

Evan will be your new roommate. Most of your stuff is still in your cabin. You’ll have to help pack up Bill Frug’s stuff since his disappearance. Funny, looks like the computer just received a message for your old roomie…

Braga will take over Anna’s bunk. 

Hamilton calls the Captain and First Mate about the message. 

The captain, first mate-Mr Creek,  Claudia Kinver (who is acting first mate and was your pilot instructor as a reminder) Matt Chew, Ramon Tsu, (they are both communications and electronics specialists,)  and Aldo Fazio (security chief) all show up. 


You know Bill’s passcode as he wasn’t very careful with it and would have you answer stuff for him now and then. 



Message received 302-1105 09:06  

Captain Benke says,"What the Hell was that?"

Matthew Chew says,"I think it's some sort of subliminal message or something. I read about it in a journal on psychology a while back. " 
"Is everyone alright?" asks Hamilton. 

"We all appear to be unaffected by the message if that's what you mean. It could also be a message dump." replies Matthew. 

Captain Benke says, “Call the Scout Security Service. Tell them about this and see if they can send someone over ASAP. Meanwhile, we need to prepare to get underway.”

Not long after, everyone goes back to their respective ships. Mr. Creek will take over as the captain of the Berkshire for the time being. The Galaxina moves away as does the Berkshire. The Vanday heads for the jump point…

some 20 hours later. “Hamilton, stand by to jump!”

“All hands, prepare for jump. Mr Leeds, at your mark.”
